99% of "new mom" classes out there DON'T actually focus on the MOM, like... at all. What to REALLY expect is an event curated specifically for THE MAMA.

You'll have an easier time in newborn season (AKA: the fourth trimester) if you prepare beyond learning how to care of a baby... you need to care for yourself, too.

There are 3 things that make the newborn phase especially difficult that most people aren't talking about:

1. Postpartum EMOTIONS contributing to poor mental health

2. The effects of sleep deprivation and how your body responds to lack of sleep

3. The unpredictability of... everything. Feeding challenges, physically recovering after giving birth, colic, diaper explosions and everything else in between.

I'm always going to keep it real with you - there will be situations that pop up in the newborn season that will be TOTALLY outside of your control.

It's going to require you to trust your motherly instincts and make sure MAMA is well taken care of to be able to effectively take care of baby.

After our 3 days together you'll know what to

REALLY expect in your fourth trimester.

And you'll have 3 new tools to help you move

through even the hardest moments.

(even if you're new at the whole baby thing and even if you've struggled with your mental health in the past)

Let's Get Ready Mama!

We NEED to bring more focus on the Mamas and help them prepare.

I've seen wayyyy to many new Mamas experience mental health challenges.

While those of us who are prone to anxiety or depression are at an increased risk of poor mental health in the postpartum period, the newborn stage is a vulnerable stage for us all.

Some of the key factors that impact postpartum mental health include:

  • Postpartum emotions and mood imbalance
  • Changes in mood due to changes to our sleep
  • Stressors thrown our way (e.g., complications from birth, feeding challenges, health concerns, family dynamics, etc.)

A proactive approach can help us take good care of our mental health and enjoy this time with our babies.

Prevention isn't always possible, but it is WAY better to prevent poor mental health in the first place and address it quickly than to ignore that side of our health and let things worsen.
